wheel offset question
What offset would be needed to bring the tires out flush with the body with the following wheel/tire setup on a 2011 GT:
F: 19 x 8.5" 255/35
R: 19 x 9.5" 285/30
Thanks for your help guys.

Why do you want to bring them out by using offsets different than the OE offsets? For one, you'll change the handling characteristics and secondly you'll be slinging more garbage at your fenders for no reason.

+25 ive seen. thats pushing it, ive been looking myself...i want to run a 10.5 wheel in the back with those offsets. th ehandling characteristics will improve.lower offsets wouldnt make it worse, it just changes the offset of the "dish" area, pushing the wheels out, you could get bigger offest wheels and buy different wheel spacer offsets to find out, thats what i would do. try a plus 30 or so offset and get the spacers how you want it.

I've run several aggressive offset wheel setups on my stangs and never noticed more"Garbage being thrown at my fenders" Gawks/Gaping stares drooling glassy eyed looks sure but not garbage lmao. Anyways on topic I would go +20mm or less up front in 8.5" wheel width and +30mm in back with a 9.5" wheel width.

I meant to have the tread stick out "uneccessarily" . I LOVE the wide tread look, just thinking that I'd have wider tires and wheels than what the OP had. No sense only pushing tire out (one direction) when you can push in both directions...
