I would not wax it, just use a good detail spray on it.

As cutter said, I would personally avoid putting wax on it because if you use certain types of wax on these matte stripes, you'll end up with one mess of a blotchy white situation. I'd suggest using a detail spray and it should protect them pretty well. I use meguiars detail spray on mine, so far so good.

Detail spray works best, no doubt.

Depends on what "wax" you are using. Sealants will be 100% okay on your stripe kit. Carnauba paste waxes will make it look like trash especially at the seams.

Here is what I did this past weekend (2 week old car). Clayed with a mild clay. Polished the whole car with a light finishing polish (knock out some of the "dealer installed swirls") and then laid a nice thin even coat of Duragloss 105 TPP. I applied it with a DA to make it even and thin. I did this on trim, decals and even glass. A sealant like 105 will protect vinyl graphics and plastic trim from UV damage over time.

I let that cure for 24 hours and then laid a nice coat of a high quality carnauba paste wax but did not let it touch the trim or decals. The results were nothing short of stunning.

Dont wax it..Use what you would use to do trim with..I personally recommend Ultima Tire and trim guard plus..Stuff will last a LONG time and very very little is needed.

it might seem pricey but I have done ALL the trim on my car and other things and it still barely looks like I even touched the bottle..it will not wash away after like 2 or 3 times it gets wet like most other trim products do.
