Default Roush Racing really tries to please!

A few months ago, I bought their hoodscoop for my car. Perfect look for the car, but it didnt fit right. They sent me another. It didnt fit right either. [You could see light comming from under the front scoop legs.] I told them how I felt about this, and thought that was that. But today I got the 3rd scoop. Man! It is gorgeous! It is already painted Redfire, and is absolutely perfect. It is made from a better mold than the first one. It was to go on one of their showcars, but they diverted it to me. They said it has already been pre-fit to a car, so Im pretty sure this time it will be right. They are paying for all paint jobs, install costs and shipping. Some would say that they should have made a better scoop in the first place, but at least they didnt blow me off like so many other busineses would have. I bought one of these when they first came out, so I was one of the guinea pigs. But now they have revised these scoops for a better fit and all who buy one now can be sure they will be satisfied.

Is it a functional scoop or a show scoop?

Just for show, but adds a lot to the car, imo.

Agreed...looks awesome! I've toyed with the idea of making it functional but who knows. Need the money for an SC anyways. There's just a hint of sunlight between the very front of mine and the hood but only noticeable from the drivers' seat...of course I haven't been in the passenger seat though.

Just had it installed. No pics, but it didnt fit at all like they said. Body shop wound up sanding down the black divider in the middle and also gluing it to the scoop. Roush has **** poor attachment areas on these scoops. A layman can walk in and see where it needs to be attached, but their hot "engineers" cant for some reason. Anyway, after two hours of fitting, it does fit right now. And it looks great!
