Hi,
that looks really good. Red is really a cool color under the car. I like it too. In the moment, i work also on other rusty parts on my stang, example the rusty axle arms an the parts around. I know that this rust is not a technical problem, but i dont like it as a mechanican.
For me the parts under the car should also be painted and look good. I see this as a package of style. Its all a question of the costs for the factory i think. When im finished, i show some photos here.

Greetings, Mario

Hi,
this is cool. I love my Guzzi like my Stang. Maybe its the engine V design. ;-)
Here is a picture of mine:

Not so the sporty type like yours, but very nice to cruise with. Mostly i drive with my wife as pillon rider. Last year i made a holiday trip with my wife from my home area (Cologne) over France to Gibraltar and back in 4 Weeks. It was around 8.000 km in this holiday.
I do the mostly works by myself as on the stang. My Guzzi is build 2002 with 50.000 km on speedometer. My dream is to drive with her the route 66 from east to west. Unfortunetaly the transporting cost via container to the states are very expensive. Maybe one time....
Like the stang, i would buy her anytime again!
I think its not so often that someone has a stang and a guzzi.

Greetings from Germany

Mario

Hello together,
now like i told a few photos of my undercar painting works last weeks. Some parts were funny to paint under the car with 5 inches place over my head. Not so good for people with claustrophobia or maybe a good therapy... I have a lot of bumps on my head , but i think its worth...
I also painted the rusty axle arms and a few parts in glossy black. I like the combination of black, red and gold. All paint is for brake calipers and heat resistant to 300° C. Not necessary for this parts, but i had a few cans of this stuff. This paint stays on everything like hell. Only to remove with fire ;-)

Greetings, Mario

Your guzzi is cool and will run forever.
The cops used to run that bike in Cali. in the 70s (I think some Counties still do), that why they called it the California Special.
Only the two of us own Mustangs and Guzzis here, I'm pretty sure.

I'd love to take mine in the Alps for some spirited cornering, then to Spain for the same reasons.
Love to take my Stang there as well.
When you own a Mustang in Europe, you're like the top Dog.
Very nice contrast over there, among all those ugly schit boxes.

Anyway, you really went to town under your car, lol.
I didn't realize that.
Looks good though.
