Default Tuner Issue

I have an SCT X3 tuner with tunes from Brenspeed. I flashed back to stock tune the other day just to see the difference in tunes. I have been using the 93 tune so long I just wanted to remind myself how much better it was.

A problem came up. when I drove the car with the stock tune the CEL did not come on to indicate the O/R H pipe. Did my stock tune get erased somehow? How can I check to see what tunes are on the tuner?

How many miles did you log after switching to the stock tune? I don't know how far, but I believe there's a certain # of miles before the code is thrown. I had an issue on one of my SUV's which took 30 miles after clearing the code for it to reappear.

On the tuner, you should be able to scroll thru the stored tunes. I don't have the manual handy but I believe it should have all your custom tunes at this point. Reload a custom tune and it should list the stock tune and remainder of custom tunes.

i think it is a number of cycles, or the number of times you turn your car on.
i remember when it took days for the CEL to come on when i didnt have a tune.

this is the first time someone wanted the CEL to come on.

Well when I first installed my OR pipe I got a code almost instantly but that was because I forgot to hook up the right O2 sensor wire. I will look at the tuner when i get a chance to see what is stored. I know I can save a copy of the files on the computer, does anyone know how to tell which file is the OEM tune?

Should be a screen on you tuner that lets you
see the "last tune loaded into car", if it says
"stock", thats whats there.
