Default Airaid or K&N Cai

Hay i just bought a Steeda cai with a tuner for my 2008 mustang gt/cs, and basically the tuner screwed my whole car up so im going to send it back and get a cool air intake that does not require a tuner. Im deciding between a Airaid or a K&N does anyone have any opinions on what i should go with.

It probably wasn't the tuner...what kind of tune did you use? CAI's without tunes are just not worth it.

^this. Don't bother with a non-tune CAI, they're worthless and there's a reason something like 70% the forum is running an aftermarket tune. I'd recommend a CAI/Tuner package from American Muscle or Brenspeed

I have a SCT tuner, and for some reason the custom tune that was sent to me was for a manuel mustang. THis caused my car not to start and when i put it back to stock setting it still would not start. So i talked to the custom tune people and they said that i would have to go to the shop to get it fixed

I have a steeda cai tuner combo, and nothing went wrong with my car. What exactly happened? Did you have a previous tune on your car or something? Sounds like user error bro-flow-sef.

Yeah that sounds about right, dealership had to reflash didn't they? I know it sucks, but you gotta make sure you provide the right info to Bama. Sorry man.

+1 on american muscle. i have a steeda CAI with an sct tune and its great. But if you buy the tuner from american muscle you get free bama tunes for life. Just send them your specs and info and they email you the tune.

yeah that sucks but if you arent going to keep the CAI and Tune combo, a non-tune CAI isnt worth the money. I would spend it elsewhere.
