That engine is absolutely amazing don't get me wrong, I just couldn't justify spending that much on a crate engine

For 12 gees i wouldd have one hell of a stroker 351 based engine with lots of torque in mine.

I do not know if this is correct but if Internet rumors are true, I remember reading an Internet rumor that Ford engineers stress tested the Coyote (non Boss) to run as high as 8k rpm. The Boss Coyote with it's lightened valve train could very well have been stress tested to 8.5k rpm based on this rumor and my own guess.

Anyway, this is all rumor so until someone can back this up with better sources, I am not willing to run my engine to these RPMs nor do I suggest anyone eliminate their rev limiters.

Back to this crate engine: it is price gouging hands down. There is no justification why they cannot sell it at 8000 or 9000$. They will still make a profit!

As for the rotating assembly of the internals, only the pistons are true forged. The con rods are still fake "forged" ( sintered) . The only difference is that the Boss sintered rods are reinforced. Made thicker in key structural places. And the reason why they are fake forged instead of true forged is because the Boss was never intended to be blown. You do not need true forged con rods for NA applications.
