rear diff leak!?!? help please!

Default rear diff leak!?!? help please!

so i notice when i left my house the other day i saw some fluid on the driveway looked under my car and saw some residue under the pumpkin.. so i wiped it off and then saw it again a day or 2 later... its not coming from the diff seal it looks like up by the front of the housing by the drive shaft.. now im hoping this isnt a pinion seal but i think thats what im going to be told the problem is.. and wheres the refill mark cause im afraid its been leaking awhile and dont want the fluid to all be gone my diff seaze up

pinion seal is at the front at the driveshaft. They're prone to leakage, very common.

Common problem. Had mine replaced about 1 month ago. Around 200 total

ok then im taking my car in while i still have the 60 day full coverage.. driving it right now while doing slightly leaking like that wont hurt it will it? i know its not good but it wont like kill my rear end? or will it?

The fluid will get low, and that's not good for the rear end. If it's been leaking awhile, it could be getting quite low.
