Default JLT's Almost Infinite Intake Lineup

As many of you may know, JLT has been in the cold air intake business for quite some time, but did you know that JLT is a family owned business and that their products are made right here in the USA?

We here at Brenspeed have always been impressed, and enjoyed using, all of the different induction products offered by JLT. One of the most important aspects of JLT’s cold air intake line up is that they offer so many different CAI options that it allows the consumer to choose the intake of their choice and at their price level.

Many of our customers fell in love with the original, extremely cost effective, 89mm PVC cold air intake introduced for the 2005-2009 Mustang GT. This intake has a Black PVC tube mated to an 89mm MAF housing. Instead of black, the PVC tube can also be ordered with body match paint. This intake is very affordable, and is a good match with simple bolt-ons and cams.

Also for the 2005-09 GT’s, JLT released it’s 110mm cold air intake, designed for the extreme bolt on cars; more aggressive cams, long tubes, upper intake plenum, etc. This CAI offers a 110mm MAF mated to your choice of a carbon fiber or black fiberglass tube that quite frankly looks extremely nice under the hood of any stang.

In 2010, JLT redesigned their CAI to accommodate for the slight changes Ford made under the hood. For the 2010 Mustang GT, they offer either a budget minded plastic CAI or the top end carbon fiber CAI both in 110mm.

The budget minded 110mm CAI has a plastic intake tube, mated to a machined 110mm MAF housing which is one of the largest MAF housing on the market. The carbon fiber CAI also has an 110mm MAF housing but instead of the plastic intake, it has a extremely high quality carbon fiber inlet tube.

For the 2011 5.0, JLT designed and produced two CAI’s for the consumer, one budget friendly, and one more expensive model. The budget friendly CAI is molded plastic and offers great performance gains for the price. This intake incorporates all of the factory inlets located in the grille of the 5.0 allowing it to achieve some very nice power gains. The more expensive, carbon fiber cold air intake, also incorporates the use of factory induction.

All of mentioned intakes require custom tuning not only too achieve the power gains achieved by both JLT and Brenspeed, but to also insure the safety by adjusting for the increased air flow allowed by the larger MAF housing. There is no easier way to add 25 to 30 HP to your 3V Mustang or as much as 45 HP to your new 5.0L Mustang.
