Default I'm going to place an order for a 2012 mustang tommorow

After months of research and cross shopping other cars I'm deciding to purchase a new 2012 mustang GT premium stick with no other features, no brembo, no heated seats nothing. It's $34,000 msrp. I'm choosing the Kona blue metallic exterior color. What do you think is a good price? like $32,000? $33,000? i'm talking about the price out the door. Also, how long do I have to wait to pick it up? 2 months? or is it longer? thanks in advance I will post pictures of the car when I get it.

Just depends on when they build it for ya bro.
Can take a 2-8 mo. sometimes from what I hear.

I ended up getting a 2008 GT500 with only 3800mi. on it instead.
Brand new garage kept. LOVE IT.

But those new 5.0's are very nice too.
Not discouraging you by any means.
You will really enjoy it!

I hear the wait is a bitch though hahaha!
Everyone wants theirs asap of course!

Enjoy the car and congrats man!
Stay on top of the dealership after you order until you get it.
You will get a build number etc. along the way.

Congrats dude. Wait time can be really long. One member here has been waiting 7 months. Doesnt mean you will have to wait that long though. With not many options, I would guess your wait will be short.

Use www.truecar.com to evaluate what you should be aiming for in terms of price at the end of the day. Put in the exact configuration you'd like and it'll tell you what you should be paying for it. Personally I'd say you should aim for great price since I know it's possible to get being that I managed it.

Not to be a buzz kill, but all the 5.0 engines are going into the F150's! FYI. From an inside source. Sucks,my brother just ordered one and the dealer didn't even know. Goood luck.

Yeah I heard this as well from a Ford employee.
But I've never been a truck guy.
Funny because I'm a Texas man lol.

I just love muscle cars, what can I say?

You sure there's nothing around in the country that matches what you want? What you're going to order is pretty much what my car is. Premium interior and no other options besides the 3.73s. I had wanted the Brembo, but I would have had to order and my impatience convinced me that I would just install the Ford Racing brembo kit myself at a later time so that I could get my car within a matter or weeks.

Yeah I'd check the dealerships stock around your town or near it to see if they have one that you would like before ordering one.

That way you could drive off that day with your car lol.
Heck I'd even look within a couple of hundred mi. on the internet at dealerships and what they have in stock. Odds are you could find what you wanted and not have to order one bro!

Definitely have your dealer check what there is around the country. Bought mine in Oklahoma City, and was going to have one shipped from Wisconsin. Something happened to that one, got sold before the paperwork went through or something, but I ended up with an identical one from Dallas.
