Sounds like a battery failure to me.
Geico has to honor their purpose...

Default PA's Ombudsman

www.insurance.state.pa.us/dsf/complaintform.html - Cached - Similar

This is who you can contact in PA to file a complaint and start a case against
them. The Insurance Ombudsman for the Key Stone State.

Geico taking peoples money is so easy even a Caveman can do it!

File a complaint with the department of insurance regulation in your state. Insurance is very heavily regulated state by state. As long as you have comprehensive coverage, there is no reason for Geico not to pay.

Lets hope you can get it taken care of. Deysha should be able to help you escalate things with Ford. And if the battery failed, I would have to believe that Ford would take care of it under the bumper to bumper warranty.

Please keep us posted. Good luck.

Good luck dealing with Ford and your insurance company. I got screwed when they sank my car in a lake at the ford dealership. Still trying to get my money back through legal action.

Lol, dangit, I ran it too, and took a screen shot.

That's a dealership issue not Ford, Id get a lawyer and go after the dealer.

BTW: How did they sink your car in a lake?

A CuDL is a customer service issue that has been relayed to Ford corporate, Corporate then contacts the dealership for their findings/side of story. When it's closed that means Ford has closed the issue as settled, that's why I'm wondering if the dealership done/said something to corporate that has Ford beleiveing the issue is resolved and that may be why they are blowing her off.

Oh, he decided it would be smart to bypass the safety item ford put there on stick shift cars so that it could not be started without the clutch engaged, and installed a remote start. And the remote start button is red like a panic button, and the dealer went to locate his car in the lot for pick up and used the panic button to listen for the horn/location.

Yes, they found it in a lake/pond, LOL

Unless the OP was smoking while filling up the car with gas, don't start comparing her thread to your Darwin Award candidate move with that remote start. I'd think less of the world if you got a dime.

Hahahaha

I would honestly get a lawyer and take that dealership to court or something!

Well to be honest you were at fault for your issues. The OP didn't light a match and throw it in her engine bay.
