I went with 600 grit for the interior pieces, painted once, sanded again with 1500 and repainted/finished (haven't gotten to this part yet). It should turn out nicely.

That's a pic I took a while ago while I was attempting new looks with leather wrapped pillars. lol. I painted my console to match in 2007. it's still there. no scratches, no cracks. if you know what you are doing you can't mess it up. look for a different paint guy lol. I did that my self too. Go for it dude. I used to paint them and sell them on ebay when I had time, and never had one go bad on me. lol
That looks good man, I might have to give it a try. I'll wait until I have all of my other stuff done and see if I want to go a little further with it. I might have to look for a new paint guy if that's the case hahah

Small update but hey, it's something new right? New fuse box cover/emblem and shock tower covers. (this is kind of becoming my unofficial build thread, haha)

ps that yellow "scratch" on my radiator cover wiped right off and that computer code sticker was removed as it was out of date anyways

Are you planning on doing anything to the rad cover? I keep thinking something needs to be done to it...but I can't decide what. Looks awesome regardless.

I don't mind the rad cover black. It adds contrast to the yellow
