Cool Good old gear question ?

What’s up everyone, I just a have a quick question about gears.
I have recently installed 4.10 gears on my mustang and I love them; however, they have a whine and I have been putting up with it because I already dropped a ****load of cash. Ya Ya Ya, I know that they are not supposed to make a sound if installed properly, been there and heard that.

Anyway, I am planning to drive to do a cross country drive as I do every year to Orlando with the old girl. Since I will be there next month, I might drop the money and get new gears and install them properly. If anyone lives around the Orlando or Kissimmee area, are there any reputable shops out there that anyone can recommend including the dealer that can install a set of gears for me. Please also advise how much you paid because I don’t feel like bending over again since I already did once up here and it was not great in my pocket book. Many thanks

Did you install the gears yourself? Maybe have a reptuable shop check the 4.10 gears already installed and they can make any adjustments needed?

I got them done at a shop, been back 5 times to remove that howling sound but the dude cant fix it. Every time i go back , i just yell at the dude out of frustration. We got a lot of people here that claim they can do them, but in reality its hard to find someone that does. Im just tired of arguing really with shops here and there, so im in the F U C K it mode and ill pay again to put them in. As long as someone can recommend someone excellent and near Orlando.

Sorry to hear that bro, that really sucks!
I know a couple of good reputable shops here in GA, but that won't help you out.
Good luck!
