I put Koni STR.Ts on my 06' V6 convertible this past winter... they are settled in and the ride is FANTASTIC! The roll is nearly gone and the bumps are very much absorbed. You will notice going over undulations the firmness... but IMHO the benefits FAR exceed the negative. I put Eibach swaybars on at the same time... the combo work VERY well together.
(I got them through stranoparts.com)

Before, my 'vert would roll through corners like the HMS Piece O' Crappe and the nose-dive during braking was really nasty. Now the roll is nearly gone and the nose-dive nearly absent... a major improvement!
(Realize I am still on stock V6 springs!)

Actually, my baby handles corners so well that I'm more afraid of blowing my (16" wheel) tires off!

You cannot believe how happy I am with these shocks!

Did you stranoparts recommend the Eibach swaybars? Did you use the stock strut/shock mounts or did you get new ones? Excited hearing all the good comments. Leaning toward ordering the Koni's and waiting till they come off backorder.

Apparently stranoparts.com is starting to get shipments of Koni yellows in. He's doing all the backorders first, so it may still be a bit before new orders of them get shipped...but at least they're coming in. He may still also have the D-specs in stock, not sure but can't hurt to give him a call.

I only used the hardware that came in the box. (The mechanic who installed it didn't tell me exactly what was used... just 'everything' in the shipping boxes from Eibach & Koni.)

Yes I based my decision partially on advice from Sam Strano but I weighed that against weeks of reading several Mustang Forums. The Koni warranty was good too!

If you're in the Sacramento area PM me! I LOVE my ride!

I have the d-dpecs, and for normal street driving, you get decent adjustability. For track/racing, I'd prefer double-adjustable Koni's, but that's only to get specific suspension movement off the line at a dragstrip.
Any of them will give you a nice/better ride with the steeda sports (I'm running those same springs).

Koni STR.T....best rebound/damping with the Steeda Sports Springs...and Sam is always right! Car is rock solid, and much more predicable in the corners, almost scary how well it behaves!

This is how it sits now...
