Default D-SPECS OR KONI

I am planning on lowering my 06 convertible Mustang GT and I have narrowed it down to these two shocks. The problem is the Koni's are on backorder (STR.T). Are they worth the wait or do I go with the Tokico? I plan on using Steeda sport springs. The other possible choice is a full Roush suspension stage 2 setup. Any input?

I'm happy with my D-Specs. Haven't ridden on the Konis, but have heard they ride a little better. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the D-specs though.

Keep in mind the D-Specs are adjustable, and the STR.Ts are not. Koni Yellows are.

I have STR.T's and I am happy with them. Handling is much improved and the ride is acceptable. Not harsh at all. I'm sure D-specs could fell just as good, but...

So some searching on the forums. There are a LOT of d-spec's that have failed.

Koni's have a lifetime warranty and they stand behind their warranty - not that you'll need it.

KONI YELLOWS.

Just do it. They have a fantastic ride and are infinitely tunable.

Konis have a lifetime warranty. They do seem to always be on backorder, so if you choose to go that way, just put in your order and wait, gotta get in the queue.

My d-specs have been on for a year now with no issues. I must admit I bought them because Koni adjustables were not available when I modified my '08 Bullitt.

BUT....when set to soft they give a much better ride than stock and when set stiff for Autocrosses they do the job well.

Good luck ordering D-specs right now with all that has happened in Japan. I'm just throwing that out there. I'm pretty sure most suppliers are out of stock, I know AM is.
