Would it be possible to convert an 08 from an automatic tranny to a manual?

 

Anything is possible with the right amount of money. Not only a tranny needed, but the entire computer and wiring plus............

I am sure there is info on the web about what it takes.

 

its not worth it in my opinion. it would be better to buy another mustang with manual and sell yours. you wouldnt lose any money really. i looked into it but decided it wasnt worth it.

 

Sell the auto and buy a manual. You'll end up saving money if your heart is set on the change.

The only reason why this would be worth it is if the car you currently own has some extreme sentimental value to you; enough that you are willing to spend more to keep it over a new Stang.

 

Forget about the manual, just buy a supercharger....

 

The only reason it would be worth it, is to get a 6 speed.
The one that's behind the 5.4 on a GT500.

pull the engine/tranny/supercharger from a wrecked GT500.. that would be worth it. still will require a lot of work... or paying someone to do it.. what do you think a normal shop would charge? 2000? plus the parts wont be cheap, even from a wrecked one.
