Default Custom Leather Shift Boot

Hi, I recently bought the Bullitt shift **** and Boot/bezel to upgrade the stock shifter on my car. When the boot arrived, It had the wrong size O-ring so it wouldn't work with the Bullitt **** so I sent it back.

I thought about waiting until they could get one that was made correctly but then I got thinking that I want something custom and more personal. I don't want anything flashy, I want to have shift boot made that is just Black leather with some blue stitching to match the exterior of my car.

Does anyone know where I could get this done and order from? I checked out Redlinegoods.com but it doesn't appear that they make one that will fit the Bullitt ****.

I have thought about going to an autowrecker and getting a stock boot and taking it to an upholstery shop and having them make what I want with that bezel but I don't know how well that would work. What do you all think?

Ya that's the part I ordered but I just took it that to part number to the Ford dealer and had them order it. When it came it was made wrong.

It is not made wrong, the Bullitt has a different **** and shaft, You just need the adaptor that they sell to make it fit.

Umm...No, The Bullitt shift boot is made specifically with a 1/2" O-ring to fit the Bullitt shift ****. Ford made the part with a 1" O-ring to fit the IUP aluminum shift ****. Therefore, they made the part wrong. Ford does not make an adaptor for this. If you look at the picture in the link, you can clearly see that it has a different O-ring to fit the Bullitt shift **** because it is different.

How much did Ford sell it to you for? When I went to the dealer they wanted $240 or something just for the reg IUP aluminum one...

Ya they sold it for $191 or something like that, It was ridiculous but I wanted it. Once they realized that it was built wrong they took it back and refunded my money thankfully.
