does your gas hand make a funny noise?
I finally figured out the noise that is bugging me, its my gas hand! I get in the car, turn the key to on position (the last position before start) and as my gas hand climbs it makes a certain noise, like a little motor/servo that is running (kinda loud though). Anyways, does anyone else have this or is the a problem with my gauge cluster?
P.S. Does anyone else turn the key all the way on and wait for all the lights on the gauge cluster go off before cranking the car? Somehow i got this habit, makes me feel like my car checks itself and tells me O.K. im ready. LOL or is it time to get myself checked out?

Hi F0RD4LifE, << love it!!
That sounds like an odd noise to have! I suggest having the dealer listen for it next time you have it in for service. They should be able to resolve it so it quiets down for you. And I love that you wait for your 'stang to give you the OK before driving!

I think it's hard to know since how loud the servos are is sort of a personal measurement. When I switch the car to on, and the servos play with the needles, i can certainly hear them but I personally don't consider it loud.
Also, if it makes you feel good to let your car sit at "on" for a while before starting the car, then by all means go for it, but you definitely don't have to I go right to ignition when I get in my car and put the key in and I've had 0 issues
