HELLO GUYS IM NEW TO THIS FORUM BUT BEEN RACING MUSTANGS ALL MY LIFE.
I JUST PURCHASED A 2011 MUSTANG GT AUTO. AND PURCHASED ALL MY MODS FROM AMERICAN RACING. IVE BEEN THRU 10 OR 11 DIFFERENT BAMA TUNES. AND THEY JUST CANT GET THE CAR RIGHT. IM ABOUT TO GIVE UP ON THEM AND GO ELSWHERE. ALL I HAVE IS

OFF ROAD X PIPE 3 INCH
AND 10 BAMA STREET TUNES. LOL AND I NEVER INSTALLED ONE OF THERE RACE TUNES. TOO AFRAID OF THEM BLOWING UP THE CAR.

MY CAR IS RUNNING PIG RICH 10 MPG AND EVERY 70 MILES I GET A CHECK ENGINE CODE WITCH THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO FIX P219A CODE. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THEM????

Far as their tunes, there is 1000's of very happy people running their tunes. I'm sure that occasionally they have to iron one out but they have some of the best customer service there is. Period.

Have you datalogged the issue and sent it to them to have them review it? Have you researched into what a P219A code is exactly?

oh yeah ive been on the phone with them for 2 weeks trying to figure it out they just keep on sending me more and more tunes . none different

But you have datalogged it and sent them the files? Does it throw the code when running on your stock tune?

 

Stop being a pu$$y and upload the damn race tune lol. You keep trying the street tunes and cant seem to get one you like, so why not help the problem and try a different tune all together. When I got mine I went straight to the race tune and never went back to anything else. Did you buy the 5.0 do go slow? Obviously not if your already modding it to go faster.

sounds like a tune issue. AFR imbalance bank 1.
is your CAI on tight, no vacuum leaks?

 

how the f am i suppose to trust there race tune when they cant even get a street tune right.

My tunes seemed a little rich too. The best thing you can do is to get your car on a dyno.
