my dad was happy with his Mustang when it was stock.
but after much prodding and suggesting by me, he started to mod it lightly, not too much.
but after the last car show and the rumble contest for best sounding exhaust, he mentioned that he would like to make it a little louder.
so the wheels in my head started spinning.
as luck would have it, i ran into a deal for a o/r x pipe that a friend only had on his GT for a few weeks but it was too loud for him.
so i buy the Pypes o/r x pipe several weeks ago.
i wanted to wait until fathers day to install it, but there was a cruise night this past weekend and a exhaust contest in a couple weeks at our Mustang club's birthday bash.
so i couldnt wait that long to put it on.
i also ordered a tuner from American Muscle.
we already installed an Airaid CAI, and a 3" ebay catback on it over a year ago but dont have a tune.
so last week, i got the tuner, loaded the tune and installed the o/r x pipe.
my dad loves it!
and so do I. the tune makes a workd of difference.
the tune makes his auto feel much better off the line, no lag.
and the shifts are tighter.
it'll spin the tires, easy now! haha.
the 3" catback keeps the tone deep and smooth, not too raspy. not bad for a cheap ebay catback, and its all SS.
