Default Look out for "Floaters"

Be advised if your used car shopping... especially off of the Internet...

Katrina will have created a HUGE supply of "Floaters" that the scammers will be trying to pass off as "good used cars” Especially through FleBay..

A Car History might tell you if it is a Katrina victim. But you can't be "sure".

Look deep under the dash and in captive spaces of the wheel wells, for signs of flooding before you buy. and just use a little better judgment then you might normal

Good advice PW. The road side sellers are notorious for this. Im sure Houston will have a bunch of these since we have such a large market for cars here. Buyer beware.
