stockers...18x8.5 GT/CS polished...optimal size is 255x45xr18...will 255/55/r18s work/rub/tramel/cause problems

I don't know man, those would be HUGE at over 29" in diameter. Even if they fit, they would be murder on your brakes...I would say stick with the 255/45/18. Ive got them up front on my setup and love em.

Ya, very tall..!! Why 55's...You will be 2" more in overall diameter (29") and will lose gearing. And may affect your ABS (??) I would go with 255/45/18 fronts and 285/40 18 in rear.

285/40/18 will not fit on stock 8.5 rim. Just stick with the 255/45/18 all around and you will be good

Yep, you are absolutely right Mayo, I forgot that I went to 10" rims in the rear !!

I got 285/40/18 on the rear,10", without a problem.
