Default Spilled tire shine on cloth seat!

Long story short is I spilt some of the Black Magic tire shine on my front passenger seat. Can a professional detail shop get this out? Or does it look like Im going to be upgrading to leather seats? lol

Upgrading to leather was easily one of my favorite mods. Just saying

Hmm.. it can probably come out, but just go ahead and upgrade to leather. OEM take off covers can be had for cheap these days.

LOL! IMO, I'd be downgrading to leather. I prefer the cloth seats to the fake leather with leather trim. Cloth is warmer in the cold and cooler in the heat.

As long as the tire shine hasn't bleached or stained the material, the cloth should be easily salvagable.

I'd try scrubbing it with some Dawn dishwashing liquid mixed in a bucket of water.

Did that on a pair of suede boots that got brake fluid spilled on them and it took it out. Let us know what you try and how it works out for you.

I'd be careful with that. I found even water "stained" the cloth

ANY liquid left standing or saturating one spot will stain cloth. If you shampoo the entire surface and blot as much liquid out of it as you possibly can then you should be fine. Most likely you can do one section but that section may end up cleaner than the rest and you'll end up shampooing the rest anyway. Been there what with 2 sons and ALL my vehicles having cloth seats (except the Stang).

I agree that you need to do the whole cushion and not just the spot. I'd do both front seats just to get them clean anyway, but thats just me.
