Default E brake issue

Hi all, I am new here but not new to mustangs, I love them and now own my 4th mustang (my first was a 67 with a 289 and 3 on the floor)

Anyway I now have an 05 V6 5 speed Mustang Convertible, sonic blue, love this car!!

Issue.... the e brake doesn't work anymore and I need to know how to adjust it. It didn't break or anything just somehow is out of adjustment so you can't pull it up anymore.

I am a female and am very car/mechanical savvy. I don't have a job right now so I can't afford a manual (anybody have one online?). Can somebody post the pages out of a manual on how to adjust the e brake?

Thank you!!!!

Mine lost a lot of tension and I was able to tighten it by going through the center console, where there's a little door (there's like a little bolt that sticks out that I tightened). Not really sure the technical terms, but hopefully someone will come in and clarify my vagueness

Look in here. You can drill down to the section that covers the e-brake: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=1

And welcome to the forum!

It's also for an 07 GT even though I clicked on 05. Found the adjustment page for e brake, will see if my car is the same.

NP, Alec. And since I found it for her first, I'm more likely to get laid...
