Default Are mustang and dynojet dynos similar in output?

Hello my last pull was on the Mustang dyno, which was right at 396 rwhp and 378 ft pounds of torque. Would that be close to what a Dynojet would pull ? Just curious if there is any difference....

Thanks...

Your numbers will be about 10% higher on a Dynojet.

from my understandsing, Mustang Dyno's apply friction/tension to the rollers to simulate realword conditions resulting in a lower but more accurate number, IMO. Dyno queens use dynojets

I have experienced as much as a 20% difference between a mustangdyno (being the lower number) and dynojet. This was not tuning, just basic pulls without changing power level. A mate of mine experienced the same numerical loss, although he was at a lower power level. We went from the same dynojet to the same mustangdyno.

For me, dragstrip results are the proof of power/torque.

Amen. The only numbers that matter are track/lap numbers.

I agree 100% the real proof is the et and mph your able achieve in a controlled enviroment... ie, 1/8 or 1/4 mile.

Mustang dyno is a dual eddy current dyno so the numbers can be anywhere from 8 -10% lower. Like stated above dyno numbers aren't important, as long as your HP and trq curves are smooth and the AF ratio is a straight line you're good.

nope....as everyone else has stated, your numbers will be lower on a Mustang dyno, but more accurate..
