Default Fog light shroud fell down in housing

This is a rather dumb problem. I went to install some new 3k fog light bulbs (thanks Powered By Ford) and the metal shroud piece inside fell out of position and down into the bottom of the light. How the heck do I get it out or do I have to buy a whole new fog light?

I remember seeing a thread on this in the past but could not find it.

very common problem that can only be fixed by replacing the light.

I just used 2 needle noses and some time to bend and pull them out without cratching the inside....and just left them out.
You cant notice they're not there I think

The only ones to notice would be the blinded oncoming traffic...

They have a purpose or Ford would have left them off in the first place.

Yeah it's to help focus the beam but with the 3000k bulbs it doesn't cause blinding light with them out.
