Didn't they do Joe Rogan's Cuda though?
NM... Troy Trepanier of Rad Rides did it.
That thing was one mean machine.

It doesn't look too bad IMO....flashy, that's for sure.
Agreed not that bad.
I love Sickfish, but not the huge wheels.
Lots of good s197 tech in this thread.

The mustang is hideous and the shop is a joke. The camaro and cuda are ok looking but even a broken clock is right twice a day. If anyone remembers they were the shop on pimp my ride that welded sheet metal over rusted holes in floors and put fish tanks in cars. Every time that show comes on and the owner throws up gang signs I want to break his fingers for being so unprofessional.

I agree that I like the Cuda with one HUGE exception. The wheels. That's an old school body that should have a hunk of rubber under that rear end. Not some ghetto 48th street 500 inch wheel! I hate large diameter wheels with a passion.

Its not a GT500, its a supercharged 5.0. I saw it in person at Barrett Jackson.

His Cuda was just BAD ***.

The thing is.... I REALLY don't see how this place is so "famous" for it's work.
I have seen better work done in MANY places.
I guess you put something on T.V. and people think you are elite from then on.

I can't believe Shelby teamed up with those guys for a a car once.
A 05-06GT he wanted turned into a "West Coast Customs/Shelby".
Shelby told them he was thinking he wanted 800HP on it and the ONLY thing they did to the engine
was slap a Vortech on it...
Shelby actually talked like he liked it. Maybe he was unaware at that time that is ALL they did to the engine.

I just could not BELIEVE Shelby requested 800HP and those guys just called Vortech and had them come install a SC on the car.
I mean if Shelby asked MY company to make a special edition car with him I would have made for DAMN SURE he got what he asked for in paticulars.
That was just a SAD result to Shelby's request.

The plan was for Shelby to offer the cars with that place as well as a special edition car.
However I never saw that happen or offered at the Shelby plant OR theirs.
I guess he may have tossed the idea after he saw what in fact was put into the car.
I saw that episode. Shelby really seemed to like it and yes he asked for 800hp but West Coast is not a performance shop and they were really hesitate about making a car with that much HP. West Coast couldn’t even install the SC they had no idea what they were doing, Ryan actually flew up some guys from Vortech to install it.

I actually really liked that car they did the paint job was insane!!!! They took the Le Mans stripes and ghosted them in!!! The only thing that was terrible about that car was the custom emblems they made, just terrible.
The idea with collaboration was to make a few of the cars show them off and then start selling the body kits.

Ryan gave the first car to Shelby and maybe it was just acting but I thought he was going to cry.
