Angry I am so SICK of trying to find the right wheels for my 08GT500.

This is RIDICULOUS. A month of searching and I cannot find ONE set of 18's that are five spoke with a solid spoke design that will fit the 08GT500.

I simply cannot BELIEVE they do not make any that fit.
Can someone PLEASE come to my rescue with some help?
PLEASE!

Thank you!

What is different about the GT500 compared to the rest of the S197's of 2008? Brakes?

By a solid 5 spoke design, you mean a wheel that is similar to an 03-04 Cobra wheel where the spoke does not have a gap in it like your current wheels?

I just browsed AM's wheel selection. A few different 18 inch wheels at least look like they have the solid spoke design but you could always go aftermarket and look at wheels from a site like eniekie (sp) & etc.

Yup that's what I mean. Kinda like the Saleens have.
Unfortunately I cannot find ANY ones that say they will clear the front brakes, even over the phone.

I've tried the Enkie etc too and the ONLY ones I have found were like 800 bucks a friggin wheel. FORGET that lol.

Maybe go an inch bigger?

Seems kind of ridiculous that 'none' would fit...even the 2010 GT500 wheels wouldn't fit?

However, it has happened to me once about calling AM versus PMing the AM rep on here and getting different answers (one said no to price match the AM rep said 'sure'..not sure what the hell happened there). Try PMing the AM rep on here about that.

Diameter is not the problem, it's the offset.

lol a year ago I was going to buy a shelby and this was one of the things that drove me away. I had JUST put a set of 18x9.5 rpf1 on my GT, spent boochoo dollah, and then found out I would have to dump those wheels because of the brembos on that car. That put me over the edge.

Riptide: Wheels kept you from buying a GT500 REALLY? What the fuzzzork man?

I'll find SOMETHING.

Maybe it's gonna take going to 19's and saving up for tires too.
I just WISH it would not.
