I guess I'm weird, for everybody else the 2010+ rear has had to grow on them, when I first saw pics of the 2010 the new rear end was one of my favorite aspects. The 05-09 rear just looks too flat, slab-sided and boring to me. Oh wellz.

Don't get me wrong I love the way they look from every other angle. It's just every time I look at that ***, it's not a pretty reaction.

The more I looked at the rear of the car, the more I started to dislike it. Tinting the lights made it a bit less hideous and more mean looking. But they do look much better when lit up.

I think most people dislike the rear end because that's all they get to see.

I will definitely admit that I didn't like the new mustang at first either. Took me about a year to accept it. Among the car enthusiast I talk to, almost none of them EVER like the new body style that's replacing their current ride. I think its an attachment thing. I love my body style now, and I'll hate the 2015 when it comes out.

Talked to some AAI employees at the plant tour last week and they confirmed the change. Also the new Mustang will be a 2015 not a 2014. The 50th anniversary is 2015 as there was no official '64 1/2 Mustang...they were all '65s

don't get your hopes up. Ford may go horizontal again in 2013.

+1000 I throw up a little in my mouth every time I see a 2010+ rear. I am glad Ford can react to the masses!

The new rear is why I didn't get a new 5.0! Can't wait to see the changes!

In addition to what everyone else doesn't like about the 2010+ rear I really don't like the black lower part of the bumper, if they made it a smaller part of the bumper I'd be ok with it but its so big. They should have had it be about the size of the 07-09 gt500 part of the bumper IMO.
