New taillights for 2013!
Ugh, I actually liked the 2010+ rear. It's what actually got me interested back in the car. The 05-09 rear end was always blah to me. Just kinda bland, boring.
And besides, noone here is going to like the 2015 Mustang anyways...due to the fact that it'll be smaller and modern. Everyone on this forum has an orgasm for the 05 Mustang because they went retro and bigger.

IDK about you other mustang guys, but when i picture a 21st century mustang and camaro, I picture a muscular 05-09 and a 2010 camaro. The bodystyles are different, unique, and beautiful. If you picture two 2010s, only one image will come to mind! I know not why the mustang is trying to imitate the camaro, because if mustang owners wanted that look they could get a camaro! I want two different musclecar bodystyles, no point in having the same car for two different companies.
To explain more of my thinking of the rear end of the 10s, they are angled, and belong on a lamborghini. No musclecar should want those. The bumper sticks out oddly, and theres another HUGE problem. The trunk portion on the rear end (the panel with the chrome faux gas cap), not the trunk lid, is angled toward the front of the car instead of straight up and down. (from a side view this is most noticeable) BIG thumbs down for that.
The WORST thing about the rear end is from the view straight behind it....the left and right sides are so curved out and feminine!
Again guys, dont get me wrong, the cars a damn beauty compared to anything else on the road really. Its a beautiful CAR, NOT a beautiful mustang.
As for the california c/s buckeye man, why would the one thing you like about the rearend on 10s is that it looks smaller??? If you want a nice cute small rearend get a m3 conversion. Its a musclecar people!! Muscular looks is where its at.
I really dont need proof. The proof is in ford deciding to change it.. I have the support of the majoriity of new mustang owners.
05-09 is THE 21st century mustang, unique from any other auto.

It's just the instigator in me just trying not to start too much. But remember the fisticuffs when the '10 first came out???
No, I'm pleased that we haven't turned this into a hate thread (my, how the forum has matured!). I really enjoy the different opinions being stated here.
Bottom line: WE LOVE OUR STANGS, NO MATTER WHAT YEAR OR STYLE!
