Default Permanent fix for muffler/bumper vibration?

I added duals to my V6 about 2 years ago. About 6 months later, I started getting vibration out of the driver's side muffer at low rpms. It was especially bad at idle. I've had it back to the shop 3 times. The first fix was to add a few more welds. The second was to repair a weld that broke loose. On the last visit, they welded on another support bar. The fixes all work about six months before the problem starts again. The vibration is back now. It's really quite annoying. When I put some force on the muffler, I don't feel any give. I'm wondering if the vibration is coming from the plastic rear bumper cover or maybe from inside the muffler. Anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

My muffler's giving me a really hard time right now lol. SERIOUS vibrations at 4000rpms, and at idle. I mean like, hurts your ear loud., I'm waiting for it to cool down as we speak, and I'm going to go out and tighten it up a bit.

Not sure how to help you with your problem though.

Nope (knocking on wood)I haven't had any drones or vibrations. I too went with GT mufflers but I used an X pipe instead of the H. I got the Pypes kit and had a shop install it for me.

Are you sure it not hitting anything? I had a noise and finally tracked it down to the pipe hitting the underside of the trunk. I wrapped it with header wrap to lesson the metal against metal banging.
I could only really hear mine at idle as well.

I figured out what mine was.
The bolt holding my hanger in was too tight. Loosened it up a tiny bit, bam, no more vibrations.

I had vibrations and it turned out to be the muffler hangers
