Would a cb radio be any good as a cop detector? Or have I seen too many 70s movies to think truckers or anybody else use these to talk about road conditions?

you can buy police scanners. also there are some apps on smartphones that stream scanners. my friend found out they actually do work when he heard his car being reported for racing lol
