Yeah I read the comments on the magnetic one and decided to go with the gloss black plastic one because of lasting issues with the magnetic one.
Stealth - Lol. I wasn't going to completely cover the back but I was gonna put a strip on all four sides but couldn't even get that out of the one roll.
Nuke - I will keep an eye on it. If it continues to come off after this then I'll take it off 'till spring and do a more thorough job with cleaning and apply the tape to all four sides.
Cssjamesr - Thanks for the heads up. I got some just in case but didn't really have to use it so it was okay. But if I still have to do it again.. I'll keep that in mind
be careful with the goo gone i used once and it also took off paint : (

Goo Gone is NOT safe for automotive finishes.
Also nothing sticks like when 3M 4298 Adhesion Promoter is used.
Avoid the Alcohol as it contains too many contaminants and actually
retards the adhesion process.... Even the 91% carp.
