Brand new 5.0. The cobra is sexy and rare. But the new 5.0 is a better overall car and makes a much better dd.

I'd pick the cobra only if it's a weekend toy.

Either depending on mileage and condition and history, both great choices! IMO...

+1. Heard nothing but bad things about a termi as a DD (outside of the fun factor).

the new 5.0 is a much better car as far as interior quality, features...etc so i agree it makes a much better daily driver for most people.

however, if your looking for a pure driving experience and just want performance, the termi gets my pick. its got a forged internals and makes a much better (and cheaper) platform to begin adding all your performance mods.

get a decent mileage termi and sink the money you saved into performance mods for it and for the same price your gonna have one hell of a monster.

If it was my only car the 5.0.
In part the reasons tightgoal said, as well as the others about the interior etc.
Plus I still like the body of the 5.0 better and would want it
for my daily look-at lol.

But if it was for a toy probably the Cobra.
Even though I don't like the body as much the termi had
a much better look than the other new edges even though it was subtle.
Plus it would be nice to own the rare car it is.

If I got to pick in between the two and still have the car I have now... I'd pick the Terminator too.
Because it looks much more different than mine and would be cool to own TWO snakes from two different generations.

Believe it or not it is apples to oranges even though they are both mustangs. I sold my 03 Cobra a year ago with 20K on the clock. Enjoyed the car a ton. Took it to road courses and had a blast. My 2011 GT is so refined compared to the muscle car feel of the Cobra. I believe another poster said if your looking for a toy you may want to look at a Cobra. If your looking for a car with muscle for a daily driver the 11/12 is your car. The 11 Gt power curve is smooth and interior is alot more roomy.

I would pick the 2012. The terminator has been out of warranty a long time ago and you don't know how it has been treated. At least with the 2012, you KNOW it hasn't had a hard life.
