Default Difference between GT/CS bumper and 3Dcarbon..

Soon I'm looking to get the look of the GT/CS rear valance on my v6.

I was wondering what the difference is between the GT/CS rear valance and the 3Dcarbon lower rear bumper skirt?

It looks like the wedges in the middle are a bit smaller...

I know it fits on over the OEM bumper, any issues with the v6 rear?

Also,
how much do you think a shop would charge to paint it? (Similar to how the GT/CS is painted..I need my rear bumper repainted as well.)

Never liked the 3Dcarbon. Looks cheap to me

The GT grille would be seamless. The 3d Carbon peice would have a seam and not stock look. IMO this is one of those times where its worth saving to get the better quality

Because lets be honest, we drive Mustangs, and that means people see our front ends in their rear view mirrors for the 5 seconds it takes for us to overtake them and then they stare at our asses untill we cross the horizon

Moral of the story, having a nice rear is important

is it possible I could have a body shop mold the two together?
Since I have to get the rear bumper repainted, I could have them mold them together and make it seamless, then paint.

Probably, but it'll probably end up costing just as much if not more than getting a GT/CS rear

The 3D carbon is just an insert and will look like "Just an insert/Glue on". It's not worth trying to integrate into your existing bumper. If you're going to have the rear bumper painted anyways, just do the right thing and buy the GT/CS - GT500 rear bumper and call it a day.

My issue with this is the ride height. Not to thread jack, but I'm adding a Cervinis C-Series Front Fascia to my GT/CS. To even out the sides, I'm getting the Street Scene Side Skirts. I'd love to keep my CS rear, but I was going to get the Street Scene Rear Valence as well...

I know this thread isn't about this part, but it seems relevant. What would ya'll do?

And OP, I would do it right and get the CS rear...that seam is what is bothering me about the Street Scene part, so I know if it were me, I'd be frustrated about having that on my car if I didn't have to.
