Default Road force ballance

What is the difference between road force ballance and old school ballancing? Is one better than the other?

Road force in my opinion is much, much better. The tire is put under load, just like it is when on the car then balanced. I had a couple problematic tires that just would not stop vibrating, a fried told me to have them road-forced, did that, they were perfect after! Did the same thing on my Tahoe as well. Seriously, night and day difference.

I find that if I have a problem with a tire staying or getting balanced, the road force will be better. Foe the most part, a normal balance works fine. Local shops use road force for problems only unless asked for it.

I had new wheels and tires installed using the standard spin balance and all read fine on the machine. After returning with complaints of vibration and the car bouncing at a 5 mph or faster roll, they RoadForce balanced it and found a defective tire. RoadForce can also detect defective wheels.
