fronts. they are in that pad or whatever u call it that sits on top of the spring itelf between it and the strut tower. be careful when taking spring out so pad stays where it is and not flip over or separate.

There are ball bearings there too that you can spill all over the place if your not careful. Caught me by surprise.
Ball bearings are on the front or rear? (sorry, I'm a little slow. haha)

Are you guys just putting on new springs? or additional suspension parts, Shocks, Struts, Anti-Roll etc.
Do you prefer the Pro-Kit or Sportline from Eibach? I think Sportline lowers 2inches or max for the Gt.

got the Eibach pro-kit sittin in the spare bedroom waitin to be put on ..From what I gathered, the pro-kit dosent drop the car near as much as the sportline..i've heard several owners going with tokico struts with the springs ..a little pricey but well worth it ..

You'll need spring compressors to remove stock springs up front. Got mine from Sears.
How much? Brand?

I had both pro and sport on my last car...IMO the sportlines are just too low. I had to worry about driveways, speedbumps, etc... The car rode great but it was just too much for a daily driver. Not to mention they caused a much greater camber problem than the pro-kit. I also had Tokicos as well and they were descent but there are better brands out there.

I installed the Tein H springs this weekend. I bought them off Ebay; $152 shipped, good price. The install was a breeze. The advertised drop was .09" in the front and 1.7" in the rear. Somehow it looks to a lot lower, more like 2.5" in the rear. What is a "good" amount of clearance to have? And, can anyone that has lowered their car list the new ground clearance? I also have 18" rims with 265 35 R18 tires. I should have bought taller tires! I will check my groud clearance later and post some pics after lunch.

Just checked my ground clearance and it is about 4.5 inches. That is checking behind the front tires and before the back. Just want to know if that is too low. Anyone else?

How the heck did you get ball bearings to fall out?? You might want to have a professional check out your installation. I did my own install and didn't encounter any ball bearings. You must've disassembled the the bearing assembly that goes on top of the strut. That's not necessary to do. There's only one nut to remove to separate the spring from the strut.
