Default Display your gear?

Is it possible to see what gear you in while driving my 08 auto? Or even when it shifts up or down?

Not that I'm aware of but based on engine RPM, you should be able to tell. If you need the spreadsheet that shows engine speed vs gear based on your tranny, gears and tire size, PM me and I'll e-mail it.

One way you can do it is with Aeroforce Interceptor gauge. I run mine in a vent pod, great info out it.
