Does anyone know how to wire the lights so the fog lights and high beams stay on at the same time? I think they make a switch or something for it???

 

I know I have a how-to for my SUV and it simply involes jumpering the fog light trigger at the relay to the same trigger as the high beams. I was pretty sure there was a similar thread for our S197's and I can't find it. It probably wouldn't take much to look at the wiring diagrams and figure it out except I'm pretty tied up at the moment.

Of course, it IS illegal in most states to run fogs and hi beams but I rarely hear of anyone being stopped.

 

Maybe I should just buy brighter bulbs, lol.

How do we all feel on the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's?

The Ultra's aren't (or at least, weren't when I last checked) made for our head lamp type and I don't believe they're made to fit the fog lamp either. I went with the regular Silverstars in the headlamps and they did help a bit. For the fogs, I run a Hella XY 2000K or 2500K lamp because I prefer the fogs to TRUELY function as a fog light. The yellow provides the needed contrast in some really ugly dark weather.

Just regular 9145 Silverstars for the fog lights.
