sluggish

Default sluggish

when i start my car in the morning i leave it running for approx 20 min. when i leave and give it gas it feels sluggish. im wondering why this just started happening. any ideas anyone?

Have you tried to give it some gas before putting it into gear? Just to bring the RPMs up and then see if it continues.

Maybe you have bad gas since you are saying this just started.

These cars don't need warming up, unless you want to burn gas or want to be in a warm car. However you still want to take it easy with the car until it does get warmed up.

You need to provide more details. Manual/auto, RPM's, more description to just "sluggish".

+1, need more info. But for starters when is the last time you have changed your fuel filter? Its unlikely it will just suddenly make the car sluggish but over time it can if unchanged... Also it could be a lot of factors, perhaps the weather?

20 minute warm-up? Where are you, Siberia??? Even when I used to deal with -20 or so, I don't think I let her idle more than about 1-2 minutes. Excessive idling will surely carbon things up.
