Default Hood Paint Job Cost

Hey all, I'm looking to add a Trufiber GTS hood to my mustang in the near future and I could use some advise on where I should go and about what I should expect to pay.

My expectations for the job are:

1. Exact color match (sonic blue with double white racing stripes)
2. Quality paint (obviously not something that just looks good but goes to s*** months later)

Anyone in the CO area that has a recommendation would be awesome and appreciated as well.

Thanks!

so you're getting painted stripes? are they already on the rest of your car or are the stripes going to be added to the rest of the car at the same time?
Straight hood paint in one color should run between $500-$1000 depending on prep work, quality stripes bumper to bumper where the non-stripe part of the panel are cleared to make the transition from stripe to the rest of the panel smooth versus raised should run between $1500-$2000. If they need to blend the hood to the fenders, that's additional cost.

It is just the hood that I'm replacing and it comes unpainted. Different reviews have stated different things but the major consensus is that the hood should already come preped to paint. The paint job is to match the rest of the car which is fords sonic blue with the double white stripes (which are already on the vehicle).

I can't give you a number on painting STRIPES, but just general rules for single color good paint is around 400-500. Even if you get a good deal, pay no less then 300 and no more then 800.
