Default Bump Start

I've driven manuals for 30 years.. Anytime I park on a hill, I always bumpstart.. more for fun than anything else.. saying "saving the starter"...

Ever try it with a Mustang? The dash gets really unhappy. It beeps at you and say "NO OIL PRESSURE YOU MORON!!!!"

I've always wondered about this... I just changed the oil yesterday. Upon starting, it immediately jumped up to pressure like normal after an oil change. But then, it came back down for a few seconds before actually coming back up... Humm. Normally, it jumps up and stays there..

So.

Ford's way of dealing with zero oil pressure after a start? Pretend it's there when it's not?

What's everyone else's experience????
