You can easily find an S197 GT in the 11-12k dollar range.

Same, base model, but an 05. Car runs great, no issues, love it to death.

The whole Camry comment was trollish hence the reason it was underlined...not too mention I was just giving you a hard time which is why I also suggested Cars.com. Search your price range and the model year and you'll find your answer.

Huh? 1 US dollar = 1.0011 Canadian dollars.

At 8k, clearly you are leaving something out of the story. No one is in the business of giving away money.

That was not my intent. As I already said, I wanted to know if it's realistic to buy a dependable GT for $15k or if I should stop dreaming and by something plain as Camry.

I'll have a look at cars.com, thanks. I was browsing craigslist and usedcars.com only.

Pardon me for not fact checking my post against the up-to-the-second exchange rate and being off by .0011 of a cent.

I don't know about *easily* unless you just really don't care about the color/transmission/mileage/year. I would say $14-15k is still the average ballpark unless you get lucky and find someone desperate.

Maybe you can find a stock one for the similar deal I got in Oct '10... I got really lucky I guess because the dealer wants to get rid of a blown GT ASAP before someone tears it up test driving it. Not to mention it didnt have an exhaust on it and had bald tires (small expense)

Garaged (no dents, dings, scratches) 2007 mustang GT with 83k miles with NOVI 2200SL supercharger ($6k value), wheels, short throw shifter, guages, 2.5" cowl hood......all for $14k. NADA was $18k

For $12-14k all I could really find were the v6's and 100k+ miled GT's. But now thats it's 2012 I think you should be able to find a GT for a sweet deal... in fact I know you can. Maybe an 07 with 60k miles for $15 sounds right! You just have to be patient... there were 2 cars before this one where we tried to buy it but the guy didnt have the title
