If it were really that important, you should just walk away from the deal. I understand what you're saying and I agree with what you're saying. I just think that you either decide it isnt that big of a deal and go home with it, or tell them to shove it and the deal is off then walk.

They would not remove it themselves either. Bs...
I have walked away from a deal because the dealer wouldnt remove their badges. One other time I told them I wouldnt sign the paperwork until they showed me the car with the badge removed and then I drove away a little while later with no badging I despise dealer badging because of the principle of the issue.

I searched around for a dealer who wouldn't put a front plate on and who would take off their dealer badge upon delivery. It's worth it to shop around. I live in El Paso, TX and one of the local Ford dealers doesn't put the front plate bracket on unless requested to do it. You just have to shop around.

Down at Galpin Ford, they asked me like 10 times if I wanted the front plate drilled on but eventually I just grabbed the bracket from the guy and threw it in the trunk. There are still little pinholes in the bumper that came pre-drilled. I live in Cali though so I'm gonna get ripped up with that fix-it ticket and probably one for my tinted windshield when I get pulled over one of these days lol.

You can get a front plate holder that hooks under the bumper or just put it in the front window.

This happened to me too and I took delivery in GA and live in AL, and neither state has a frontal license plate requirement!

They did it just to put a dealer tag on the front, and I didn't even realize it till I went back to AL with it. I just put a UGA vanity plate on it to p.o. the alabama locals. haha. I'm thinking about replacing it with a take off from roush when I get around to putting on the california special lower on it.

When I bought mine, it had a dealer sticker on it. I told them I wanted it off, and they looked at me like I was stupid. They were so confused. You don't want to keep out badge on there? I respond with, "no its not your car so why would I want your badge on there and they are ugly." lol.

I once told a dealership to remove their logos immediately or pay me for the advertising space. They were a little confused at first, but complied.
