yea this wait does suck.. i have atleast 1 more month and its killing me, but i know once i get the car i will be smiling from ear to ear for about a weel

 

You put the deposit on your credit card right?

If they won't refund your deposit, just reverse the charges on your credit card. (call your credit card company, they can help you, you have to fill out forms and explain what is going on, but it is fairly simple)

Beware, you only have like a 90 day window to reverse the charges, so if you put the deposit down on 06/29, you may only have another couple weeks.

Credit cards can be wonderful tools if used correctly.

 

I called my Credit Card Company up CHASE,and they told me they they have a 60 day policy,But they sent me a letter where I can still fight that charge of $500...
And I know its not Ford that is holding my $500 but the Dealer......
And I am Glad Ford Motor Company called the DEaler while I was on the phone HOLDING lol.I am sure the dealer was Shocked by the call from Ford motors.
Like I said once the dealer gets your money and the car does not come in like the 60 days that my contract says.I think most dealers will give yea a hard time because you are backing out.{they had their 60 days to get the car}
With me my dealer said that he has Allocation for sept and he moved me up from Priority 10 to a lower number and said he can put me at priority #8 or even Zero.....Thats when I started to worry and called fords 800# and as of today I am still C/U meaning that I would still be waiting for who knows how long.....

Long Island to Quakertown is about 3 hours away....Go over GW bridge and take NJ turnpike to Newark airport EXIT RT 78 and take RT 78 to Allentown dorney Park area and take Rt 309 south for 15 mins and you are there...

call the salesmanager John up and ask him does he have any Gts in or when will he get some and will he sell you it at INVOICE since you are ready to buy one as of now.Tell him that a friend told you he just bought one from him......Or do it on the phone with the fax ...Hey I am glad I can pass this along maybe someone else will get a stang Gt at INVOICE too.....JohnnyT

 

cannot beleave nobody called the ford dealer as of yet in quakertown and speak to the salesmanager JOHN about getting a 2006 stang Gt at INVOICE...I am not sure that they will sell yea one but i got mine at INVOICE and it was their only one at the time,and they are a pretty big dealer...Only 2 hours from NYC and 1 hour from New Jersey and 30 mins from philly.....JohnnyT

 

Since you still have your information for the 800 number, call it about once a week and see when it gets a build date. That way, you can see how long you would have had to wait. The dealers don't usually cancel the orders that the customers cancel because they know they can sell it.
