Sure can, might take a couple days for me to do it and it will be on a digital camera.

4k is a little crazy for just the installs, you sure that's not with parts? If it is with parts then that seems better, and doing headers sucks, I did my shorties myself and would rather do cams again than do headers.

That quote was with parts and install. I know I can get the Hot Rods and gears for MUCH cheaper but the headers are looking like at least 1200+labor which doesn't bother me. We'll see. I will keep you guys posted. Most likely getting the cams installed in May and headers before Aug.

RSX..did you have a lift? I have access to a hydraulic lift so it shouldn't be that bad.

Came and gears are around $400-500 each for install. Headers take a shop about 8 hours to install. Its a big job. My supercharger went in easier.

I did not have a lift, but what makes it tough is the way the headers are wrapped, it's difficult to get a wrench or socket on them to tighten them. That, and I had to take out my starter (easy) and undo my motor mounts and jack the motor up to fit the headers on, which was more difficult. I can't see a lift speeding it up too much, just makes it sick a little less.

Oh wow...I knew that headers weren't the easiest install but I didn't realize they were that difficult. Let me look into this a little more. My comments in no way were to bash Brenspeed, they are a great company but I just don't think I'll be purchasing the cams or gears from them. I'll probably get the headers there and a dyno tune later on this year. This just threw a wrench in my whole plan, lol...was planning on 3k total so I may just have to do the headers and all next year (depending on the quote Street Lethal gives me) and finish the exterior. I just want to get going on the "go" portion of my build instead of finishing up the "show" portion.

I'd honestly do the cams myself, I was nervous at first but if you have a friend to help and can take your time then you can do it, and you definitely do not need the spring compressor to get the followers out. And my header experience was with BBK tuned length shorties, which are twisted up like longtubes. The headers took me just as long as the cam swap did.

Headers are only nuts and bolts and you really cant screw things up too much. But the cams install, you do that wrong and your motor could be fubar. I would not pay the $ for a header install. Do it yourself and stand proud! Frankly if your budget is $3k, you should really think about FI. With a little more cash you will get results you will put huge grins on your mug. Headers and cams sound great but the overall power increase isnt that much for the money invested.

I'd agree with the header install, except I had to jack my motor up some and you really can screw stuff up if you jack in the wrong spot or don't pay attention if stuff gets snagged. Also, if you take your time and don't rush then the cam install is so easy. But ya, for 3k a supercharger could be had. I just saw a used Saleen up for 3500.

THIS...You might want to call chandler again baker. When I was up there last month for my gear swap, he was telling me about a couple used saleen s'cers they had in stock, that would save you some money and the install at regular prices was only $650. I was soooo tempted, but couldn't pull the trigger. I'm hoping they have one laying around next jan/feb for me to purchase during the 1/2 price labor install.
4.5K for 150hp...big bang for the buck there bro. Cam's and exhaust puts you more than half way there money-wise, but not hp-wise.
