Default Front window keeps fogging when parked after driving?

I have a 2011 and whenever i drive for a while, then park, the front window will be fogged and wet on the inside. It seems like warm air from the engine bay is coming into the cabin and going up into the windshield.

It only fogs when its really humid outside, which is often because i live in florida. Does this happen to anyone else? is there a fix for this? My 03 mustang never fogged like this.

Check your drains in the cowl to make sure they are clear of debris. It could be filling with water and just a matter of time before it comes in thru the cabin filter.

From under the hood you'll see 2 rubber thingies at the back of the cam covers on the firewall, Those are your drains. Let us know if they're plugged.

Also if your car in a convertible, water could be getting in somewhere else.

I suppose it could be normal if the humidity is THAT bad, but I check my drains to make sure they're clear.

Are you driving with the AC on? Is it on recirc or are you venting outside air? Cool air remaining in the vents will condense the cabin air which has no where else to form except the windshield. I believe having the AC on recirc mode compounds the problem.

If you're not running the AC, then I suggest you look for other sources of moisture in the car such as the water leak that plagued the earlier models.

I also have this problem with my 2010. Very annoying at times. And it does it whether the AC has been off the whole drive and also if I've turned it on. It doesn't do it all the time though.

I live in FL as well, and it happens all the time. First thing i did was check my drains and they were completely clear. I think its just something we have to deal with in the humidity down here and the rapid change of air temp in the vehicle as soon as you park it and turn the AC off.
