In the process of getting a V6 2011 Mustang. I have a double din headunit I'd want to put in the new mustang. Who makes the best kit? Also do any of you have subs? I'd also want to put 2 12s in the trunk but I don't know if they fit.

Im sure 2 12'shave would fit. I would imagine the box would take up most of your trunk though.

 

The two dash kits currently available are the Metra 99-5823CH and the Scosche kit. I have the Metra dash kit, which gets the job done and costs a little over $200. The Scosche kit cost about $300 and has a touch screen for the A/C controls. I've read of a couple of people having to send back their Scosche kits to have it updated when it doesn't work correctly. So if you go the Scosche route, talk to someone and have them make sure its updated.

 

Here is the metra kit in my car. I think this is awesome. Not cheap by any means, but it really is about perfect. I like that I can rest my hand on the shifter and operate the unit without any issues.
