I'm not sure about engine hp, but you can get over 500 rwhp reliably with a good tune, and some prefer to stay around 450 rwhp to be safe. So engine hp with a drivetrain loss of 15%, that would work out to about 530-580 engine hp.

For your question about the CS, the main differences are the side scoops, stripes, and front and rear bumpers. Many GT's came with the hood scoop. You can definitely make a GT look like a CS, in fact sometime down the road I'm swapping my front bumper cover for a CS bumper.
