happen to check my oil today

Don't think so since I am the one who poured 8 quarts into the engine. U know I work at a land rover dealer nuke. At least I'm changing my own oil and not taking it to Ford. Lol. How's Florida?

Whom did the first oil change?
Did they not put enough in it from the get go?
I put 5 quarts in her and she has 5 quarts when I drain her.
The 'oil gauge' is a glorified idiot light.
It shows that you have oil pressure
and thats about it.

Superb, shoey, superb. The g/f is no longer my g/f. We got hitched in January.
I'd check the oil regularly, now that you think you may have a problem. Just keep tabs on it until it gets to the lower line on the dipstick before adding more so you can get a feel for how fast it's losing oil, assuming it IS losing oil. Keep us posted.

Congrats on getting married buddy. And yes i will def be checking the oil on a regular basis from now on. And will keep posted on what I find. Runs like a raped ape so we will see next thurs what she runs in the 1/4. Heading to Memphis for the red hot chili peppers show and meeting up with my uncle to hit the drag strip for a couple of hrs before. First time going to the track. I'm worried I'm going to get addicted. Lol

Great reply, my Dad taught me about checking oil, how to change oil and plugs. The
classic cars like my 67 Camaro, we could easily work on. Today's cars are a little harder.
We must remember to do it ourselves first.
I told the service dept. and the salesman at my new dealer I needed a tire rotation
they stated: "How do you know"? I said, I looked at the front and the rear, I know.
